Democrats and Republicans are all on board for heavy regulation next year. It’s a win-win for investors and or traders

The question is not if regulated, but when US is gearing for maybe the end of 2023

only bad thing is for people like me who are banned from from both slutgram and ballsack union

there are sites that still take CC's. not saying it is the best option but it works.

The best was when you would get one of the 8 parts of the name in the wrong order and have to call them to change it. Pretending you knew who Carlos Martinez El Chapo Rodriguez was and explaining why you were sending him 2k.

I prefer funding/getting paid by USPS money orders anyway. Never expire and worth their weight in Gold.

Come back in 5 years and remind me how offshore is dead, like in 1998, 2002, 2006, etc etc etc

If crypto goes away which it won't you can still deposit via creddit carrds or even money wires last I checked on most offshore books.

I remember using Wesstern Unnion back in the day to fund books. Had to get the cash drive to the wesstern uunion store, fill out a form then wait in line.

What a pain in the ass is was back then!

As long as it still exists, I don't care so much that it's regulated. Just as long as it continues to be viable for books for deposits/payouts.

The books are conducting a legal business and running a legit operation from the country they are in. Coinbase already sends me all my tax data and reports and cost basis information. It's not the gamblers that are trying to move/hide money with crypto so much in my opinion.

Plus- if you were lucky to make anything gambling you probably lost by holding any crypto this year or by being scammed by LUNA, FTX or many other crypto ponzi schemes or exchanges running with your money or losing it.

Regulation will be fine. If the exchanges are regulated, it prevents another FTX. Most likely they are going to leave bitcoin alone but most of the alts will become securities. The stable coins such as USDT will be heavily regulated.

My initial thought was that they make exchanges more secure to investors and regulate stable coins as you mentioned. There is no reason people should lose everything when they kept it in a Dollar for Dollar coin. I don't see it as the doom and gloom that JJGold seems to think.

I thought the MO procedure was a pretty good idea at first... it's probably the worst idea.

                                                  1. Banks refuse them because of fraud. Or look at you odd just depositing them.

                                                  2. USPS - when you go to cash them. They ask 10 questions. They expect you to know the person who gave it to you. Which is so odd. Like the last time I did this... the USPS cashier said.... who gave this to you? I said a family member. And why did they give this to you? I said because they owed me money. I then reverse the questioning... and start questioning them (because I'm pissed off.) I said I'm not understanding the issue here? I tell the USPS clerk is it a valid MO? She says yes I can tell by my screen. I said then what difference does it make who gave it to me? She said the MO came from an Oklahoma City USPS store.. and you're cashing it here in Detroit... and it's 8 months old. I said again.. what's the problem? People send money all the time. After 40 minutes and waiting on a supervisor they finally cashed it.

The question is not if regulated, but when US is gearing for maybe the end of 2023
Most you guys just don't understand Bitcoin.

Bitcoin is a permissionless decentralized peer to peer. That means if you self custody it you don't need to ask anyone if you can use it. The only way they can stop sportsbooks from using it is to go and shut them down.
