Wow! I love that band! Stevie Nicks had the better voice though. I've seen them in concert back in the day a few times.

I didn't realize she was 79. I guess that was getting up in age there for the burnt out rock star. I'm sure she did a ton of drugs during her life time.

News said she died peacefully at home. Must be natural causes..

The singer-songwriter, behind some of the group's biggest hits, dies after an illness, her family says.

She wrote the lyrics to the song..."You make loving fun". She handed them to her husband and he was so honored, he put music behind it. Turns out years later the song was about the affair she was having with the band's lighting director.

Yes, we toss around words and terms like 'legend' and 'GOAT' too much that it cheapens the word.
                    In Christine's case, 'legend' applies.

Fleetwood Mac was the first super band I remember when I was a kid, some of their I work loved, some not so much, but the songs Christine and Nick, and Stevie churned out not years but decades of consistently fantastic music.

Not everybody is going to love everything their favorite singer/bands does, all I want is consistent quality.
Fleetwood Mac, which Christine was an integral part of, checked all the boxes, every one of them.

                    RIP
Ronnie, and Janis and the rest are waiting fir you.

My favorite (believe it or not)
I just love the driving percussion in the song.

                    Rock on Christine.

All the 70's rock star legends are getting really old now. Expect more to die soon.. We should start a death pool with odds, anyone in?

Ozzy Osbourne days are numbered I think. Keith Richards might be on life support now. Willie Nelson has to be seeing his last days shortly as well. Etc..
