It started when Koepka called Dechambeau out for his slow play. He wasn't the only one. Multiple tour pros have complained about Bryson taking too long to hit a shot.

If you've ever played with someone who plays really slow, you'll know where he's coming from. It's definitely frowned upon wherever you play.
If they're really slow, they cause a logjam, backing up groups behind them. I've seen people get pissed enough that they intentionally hit into the slow group. lol

and no excuse; someone's carrying your bag, giving you exact yardage, and you've played multiple practice rounds at the course. Bryson is like if God tried to create a douche bag golfer and turned it up to 11.

unless you are friends with the player and stay with them, you are basically on your own....


or if the player has his wife/kids coming with them, you are on your own



players eat in the clubhouse, pretty good meals...caddies eat sandwiches and chips in a fukkin tent


with covid, they both eat similar things in the clubhouse...but still not the same. caddies meals are way worse



clubs serve breakfast and lunch but you usually miss one while you are on the course or not there due to tee time (1pm tee time misses breakfast)

some caddies just travel to each qualifying site/mini tour to find a bag then hope the player gets on a run


otherwise, you barely make anything....many sleep in their car if they dont have a bag


nowadays every qualifying site/mini tour has a yardage book but some caddies would make their own, print/copy them, then sell in the parking lots


nice little side gig for some cash
