those 2 clemson defenders both came down and 1 angled himself towards the other defender and that gave Sermon the opening to the right to get the first down... that was an easy stop and punt but clemson blew it

Typical SBR...people trashing and bashing Trevor Lawrence because of one lousy game?...he's still by far and away, the best QB in college football and will get drafted #1...all the GM's, pro scouts, coaches, talent evaluators, etc. all rave about him...but I digress, I guess he's not allowed to have a mulligan for one bad performance...

I can tell you this. Lawrence is not Deshawn Watson. Watson was cool as a cucumber under pressure. Lawrence is great when everything is going smoothly.

The GMs, scouts, coaches etc are usually wrong. What pick was Mahomes again? Lawrence's entire career is built on smashing bush league teams. His arm strength isn't good and he completely relies on receivers getting tons of yards after the catch. His entire career has been this way. He will be an enormous bust in the NFL with the Jags.

Fields will be far better at the next level.

You can't really be this stupid?...No, they are not perfect and sure they whiff sometimes but usually they get it right far more often than they get it wrong...and Mahomes is the exception, not the rule...ditto for Aaron Rodgers and Tom Brady...it's not an exact science...and Andy Reid's system is very QB friendly...Hell, even sorry ass captain checkdown Alex Smith thrived in it...and I 100% disagree about Lawrence being a bust...he will excel at a high level for the next 10+ years...If he is a bust, I will come back and bump this thread and eat some crow with tabasco sauce!...but I do agree that Fields will be a great QB at the next level as well.
