They have a use, but certainly not like most would think.

It's like finding a great fishing spot out on the lake or reservoir, then marking the bottom of your boat to find it again.

Those who figure that out stick a pole in the water to mark the spot, but when they comeback they find the water has risen and they can't find the pole.

Less than 1 in 1000 of those guys will realize that you must triangulate if you want to mark the spot. You have to find markers at the shore and find the intersecting points.

That sentence is incomplete. The mere existence of trends, and how theyt sway the markets, is integral to what I do and almost any better. I don't follow or fade them Gold, but I watch different levels of bettor sophistication do it all week long. They are often what helps create value in the line.

It's one thing to know something Gold, but metacognition is a far better asset.
