Shaq all day long ----- to big, to heavy, to strong and to athletic.. Wilt and Kareem would get bounced around in the paint by Shaq like David Robinson did.. Would be child abuse..

Depends on how you are doing this. If you mean start one as they were when they were a Laker, I'd take Kareem. Shaq averaged playing in 66 regular season games as a Laker, and Wilt didn't become a Laker until he was 32 and a bit past his prime.

If you can take any of them in their prime, I take Wilt. It's hard to pass up a guy who averages over 48 minutes a game while scoring 50 points and getting 25 boards.

Shaq was a different breed than the other two.

Shaq only had like 7 elite years in his prime.

You can take Wilt, but those stats don't mean anything. Those games were like pickup games at the park.

Best player of those 3 in their prime is still Shaq.. End of story.. We aren't talking Laker duration, age, etc..

All 3 in their prime with today's nutrition and training - I still take Shaq all day long!!!

Kareem will get off his sky hooks and do his best, Wilt will get his finger rolls and rebounds.. Shaq will be a bully in the paint and dunk on both at will and break them in his prime.

Shaq was big and very athletic!!!

Wilt was long and athletic, more physical.. Played above the rim and loved the finger rolls.. He was playing against midgets back in the day and that's why he scored 100 points in a game.

Shaq is not top 10, guy was a shell of himself after he left Kobe. Started bouncing around to every top player in the league to try and get as many rings as possible. Wade, Lebron, Nash, the legends in Boston. Lost respect for Shaq after that.

Bill Russel was skilled.. Fly's under the radar as one of the greatest big men ever IMO.. Dude had some wheels and hops for back in the day.. Could find the hoop and score.

Dwight Howard was having a year with the Lakers.. Rejuvenated and made a comeback.. Damn shame Corona hit and shut it all down for him.. He's done now.. Next year he'll be to old and have nothing left in the tank..

Russell is way better than Wilt bro, that's not even debatable. Russel is better than any big man you named except maybe Kareem. But would prolly still give bill an edge.

I am old enough to have seen Wilt as a Laker and Kareem @ UCLA. I am also from Boston, though missed seeing Russell live.

All you have to know about Russell, is his TEAMS (College, Olympic, Pros) went to win or go home games 21 times.
Russell led them to 21-0.
HOF`ers talk with reverence and awe when discussing him.

Stupid to compare players from completely different eras, though we do it all the time. BUT, in the time he played, against the competition he faced, he is and will always be the single greatest winner in the history of team sports.

So please, don`t "trash" his offensive #`s. The man pulled down 50 rebounds one game.
