well, that's why it's called gambling Pauly...sometimes you are the bug...sometimes you are the windshield...officials not only effect scores but outcomes of the games as well with their hideous and horrendous calls/non-calls...it's one of the reasons why I have always played teasers...to allow a margin of error and some kind of insurance for that kind of incompetence...

I complain about refs a lot, but this was the worst thing I've ever seen. They have to do something drastic and immediate to maintain legitimacy. It's WWE at this point.

The only way to stop this type of behavior is for fans to hold grudges and make themselves heard. Look at NE fans and Saints fans last year. The weak fan base teams will always get screwed because they are meek and they dont demand legitimacy, they just forget what they are bitching about a week later. NE held a grudge for a year. Saints still have a grudge. Look at how they get rewarded.

Nothing will ever change, there will always be something pointed out nowadays with all the Cameras, Replays, Retired Refs cutting in mid coverage with their opinion. Games becoming a joke all the way around. Still the best though i reckon.

I recall the lions td where guy never crossed the goal line so not like incompetent officiating didn’t help them as well. I stopped watching so dunno what happened in second half but think fair to say lions red zone incompetence is why they lost that game.

I watched the 1st drive after half where pathetic ref called whatever on lions dB for making play on ball, that was last I could take this nonsense. Fact still remains lions handle business in red zone they don’t have to worry about refs who made bad calls both ways.,

This is typically the argument that is always given on why a missed call shouldn’t matter but honestly it’s like 5 on 4 in basketball. Eventually it’s going to matter. Statistically one team is at a disadvantage. They shouldn’t have to overcome what looks to be favorable treatment towards the other team

Rotoworld writers immediately blasted the officials multiple times in their updates. Very unusual for a neutral or objective update platform. The refs must have been egregious for that to have happened

Certainly, the hands to the face were bad calls. They need to see that hand better. I will say this.......and I'm a Detroiter by birth...the Packers got screwed on some non-calls too. Jiimmy Graham was interfered with on the TD pass even though he still could've caught it. And either Aaron Jones or Williams was definitely interfered with on a short pass that would've been a first down. The refs kept the flags in those pockets. GB didn't challenge because as we've now seen. The challenging of P.I. is a joke.

The Giants got screwed in the Thursday game by many non-calls against the Patriots. The one that stood out to me the most was on the very last drive Golden Tate was interfered with for 100% certainty. There is no way anyone could argue with me on that. The Giants challenged and sure enough they wouldn't overturn it and give a penalty. I literally threw stuff at my TV. Yes, I had the Giants. They might not of ended up scoring on that drive anyway but it put them at 4th and 10 with the non-reverse call. They would have had the ball in NE territory with decent time left for a garbage TD. I can't understand why they even say you can challenge P.I. if they refuse to overturn obvious situations like on Golden Tate.
