The money is diverted from other uses. So some other projects that the military wanted to fund will not get funding so they can be used for the wall. Military construction projects like upgrading military bases, building new barracks, new shooting ranges and a lot of other projects the military wants to use the military constrution funds will have no funding now.

for their failed Mueller hearing which only served to highlight what a politically-driven
waste of time the Trump-Russia investigation was in the first place.
“I would like to thank the Democrats for holding this morning’s hearing,”
POTUS wrote ahead of the former special counsel’s second round of testimony
before the House Intelligence Committee led by chairman Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA)
on Wednesday afternoon.

“Now, after 3 hours, Robert Mueller has to subject himself to #Shifty Schiff – an Embarrassment to our Country!” Trump added.

According to reports, the president watched some portions of the testimony, but appeared unphased by the first round.

And why wouldn’t he be? It was a disaster.

The president also shared Fox News analysis of the hearings, which included Chis Wallace’s calling the testimony a “disaster,” as well as Katie Pavlich’s noting that Mueller had denied that his investigation was impeded and highlights from Rep. Jim Jordan’s (R-OH) time questioning Mueller.

Stephanie Grisham, the White House press secretary, also issued a statement assessing the Mueller testimony earlier on Wednesday.

“The last three hours have been an epic embarrassment for the Democrats,” she wrote in a statement to reporters. “Expect more of the same in the second half.”

After Mueller’s second round of questioning, Trump seemed quite pleased with the results.

He issued several retweets of highlights from the hearing from his allies in the House.

“TRUTH IS A FORCE OF NATURE!” he wrote on Twitter.

Trump re-election campaign manager Brad Parscale also called the hearings a “disaster” in a statement.

“This entire spectacle has always been about the Democrats trying to undo the legitimate result of the 2016 election and today they again failed miserably,” he wrote.
