Simmons can't shoot but he's not the problem, Embiid's conditioning and the horrible contract they gave Horford are the bigger issues.

Not the problem but if he learned to shoot he be much more valuable. Doesn’t have to be a great shooter, just good enough teams can’t just leave him wide open. Far as embid he will always be a problem in that regard, guy has never shown the ability to stay healthy and prob never will.

how is paying ben simmons the max remotely an issue? there are fair number players in the league worth more than the max.

his lack of shooting is bizarre........ he's a good ball-handler. can't he get a shooting coach and hit 35% of 3-pointers?

here's a shocking simmons shooting stat: i don't believe in 2 years of play that he's taken a 3-point shot that wasn't clock-motivated. think about that.

He’s better than rondo man. Duncan couldn’t shoot free throws early on either. He’ll improve his shooting I think. And then he’s hard to stop.

i've heard it said that he never made a 3 in college or the pros. thing is the cap is going up so they were gonna pay him anyway. a little cheaper now than later and don't have to worry about rich paul getting him to the lakers after lebron leaves.
