Laker, how many years are we away from having a European team play in American pro sports-league?
Jacksonville Jaguars are most obvious candidate. I really think we're close to Jaguars playing 4 games in JAX and 4 games in London.
Owners of American pro teams know no limit of their greed. Tapping into new market is huge.
PS, American League is not very deep. I'm sure that Henry feels like he's not giving up much by playing two games at Neutral site.

You underestimate how many people own Yankees hats around the world, especially in asia.
Marlins vs diamondbacks, yeah no one would go. You have 2 of the top 3 MLB organizations (Boston, LA, NY) come to London though, you're bound to get a strong turnout.

Cricket is a massive sport in the UK so maybe some fans can convert into baseball fans.

Umm, false. Unless their venue is bigger which I dunno? When the last time a Sox/yanks series didn’t sell out in Boston or NY??
Next year it gonna be cards/cubs, once again a series that always sold out in chi and stl. This whole myth about baseball dying is as much fake news as those polls trump hates. Baseball is alive and well in the cities that matter!!!

Dunno how you bet this?
The NFL overseas games are bad enough but think baseball even tougher. Long trip, messed up body clocks w time difference, huge break in routine! Hard to hit a baseball, these things gonna make capping it even tougher!

Just trying to sell merch and get more international interest/exposure. NFL and NBA have been doing it and it seems like it's worked somewhat. Jerseys everywhere in the stands during those games

On May 8, 2018, it was announced that MLB had entered a two-year agreement to hold baseball games at London Stadium during the 2019 and 2020 seasons. ... The National Football League has similarly held regular-season games inLondon—primarily at Wembley Stadium—under the banner of the NFL London Games.

I get it, just don’t like they taking away a few home games of the best rivalries. This year Sox/yanks, I heard next was gonna be cubs/cardinals. Obviously it makes sense bringing the marque teams over but I prefer nfl method of shoving crap teams down their throats!! Lol

Take a wild guess you dumb rat.
It's called promotion. Purpose is expanding the games'/franchises' fan base. To make more money. Something you have no idea about. Tickets sold out with an avg. price of 300 usd. 60k+ fans expected in each game.
