so i would guess the sharps will play one hand of blackjack or roulette at 150, if that loses then one more at 300 and then done win or lose.

Why would it be hard to chase? You could keep betting 400 to try to get back to positive. You act like people are going to quit after losing 2 hands. I guarantee somebody will lose 2,000+.

I think the best play is to play a single hand of BJ for 150. If it wins you make 300, if you lose you lose 150. If you martingale and lose you are sitting at -300. Another loss would put it at -750 and that's just too much risk for the 150 reward imo.

I think the best play is to play a single hand of BJ for 150. If it wins you make 300, if you lose you lose 150. If you martingale and lose you are sitting at -300. Another loss would put it at -750 and that's just too much risk for the 150 reward imo.

Why wouldn't you risk 450 when you still get a bonus of 150 on a win?

Since the amount you already lost is irrelevant (besides increasing the size of next bet needs to be to get in the positive) to the EV of the upcoming hand, if the limits were high enough to allow continuing chasing and outside of bankroll considerations, I would think it would be correct to martingale until you reach the point where you house edge on a single hand is greater than the bonus amount...

Because of splitting and doubling (having learned a lesson the last time Lou tempted us with this offer the first time ) I think baccarat, roulette, or craps would all be better choices, even with a higher house edge, since you aren't ever required to raise your current bet to reduce the house edge...

If you wanted to chase big I believe that you also could keep pounding longer odd things (like 1st 12 on roulette, or if you really wanted to gamble, reduce you bet to a single number where you will still show a profit with a winning hand) while still maintaining your +EV lifestyle status until the house edge was larger then the rebate amount of your next single bet or until your bankroll couldn't handle the next hit...
