If the plan all along was just to bring him in for Holt it was a truly moronic plan. In that case why not just let Hill face Holt and then make a move? It's not like he had thrown 100 pitches.

I hope for Roberts' sake he pulled him because he walked the guy on 4 pitches and not for "matchups". Doubt it though.
