    100 SBR Point Giveaway!
I will give 100 betpoints to the person who can find me the highest Win percentage in Tournament or Playoff history. It doesn't have to be a sport. It can be a game like Chess, Checkers etc(video games will not count). The rules are: 1. It must be tournament games or playoffs. 2. The sample size has to be at least 100. 3. It must be verifiable so... post a screenshot or a link. It can be a coach, a team, or an individual player. I will give the 100 betpoints away 1 week from today on January 10th. I should mention that I don't know what the record is so post anything that you think might be the record. If 2 people should happen to tie, the record with the bigger sample size will be the tie-breaker. Any questions?

My sources tell me that the picture below is indeed TTwarrior. However, my sources tell me that he is only 99-0 so he is 1 short of the required sample size.

                AT THE OLYMPIC GAMES

The U.S. went 8-1 to capture the first ever gold medal at the 1996 Olympics. The U.S. defeated China 3-1 in the gold medal game. Its lone loss of the Games came to Australia (2-1) in round-robin play.

At the 2000 Olympics the U.S. had its 112 game win streak snapped with a 2-1 11 inning loss to Japan in round-robin play. The U.S. proceeded to lose two more games (2-0 to China and 2-1 to Australia). It was the first time in the history of USA Softball that a Women’s National Team lost three games in a row.

The U.S. rebounded to win five consecutive games including wins in the playoffs over China (3-0 in 10 innings), Australia (1-0) and Japan (2-1 in eight innings) in the gold medal game to capture its second consecutive gold medal.

In Athens at the 2004 Olympic Games, the U.S. Women’s National Team was anointed as the “Real Dream Team” by Sports Illustrated. The performance by the U.S. Olympic Softball Team will go down in history as one of the most dominant ever. The U.S. squad led by Mike Candrea was considered the best women’s softball team ever assembled and possibly the most dominant Olympic team of any sport. With its perfect 9-0 record and its string of eight consecutive shutouts, this team proved it was indeed something ‘Special’. The U.S. outscored its opponents 51-1 in nine games and did not allow a run until the sixth inning of its final game.

The team’s domination is well documented in the record books as the U.S. set 11 different Olympic records during the 2004 Olympics. Below are the Olympic Records Broken by Team USA during the 2004 Olympic Games:

This one is definitely the front runner right now. I'd still like to see an actual Win/Loss/Draw record in tournament play. Any idea what it might be?

Edwin Moses won 122 consecutive races between 1977 and 1987 in the 400 m hurdles.

                            That was DAMN impressive.

what did he do before the 45 years of dominance??

I'm sure almost everyone remembers this guys loss to the dairy farmer in the 96 Olympics

Karelin won gold medals at the 1988, 1992 and 1996
                              Olympic Games
under a different flag each time (Soviet Union, Unified Team and Russia respectively), and a silver medal at the 2000 Olympic Games. His wrestling record is 887 wins and two losses.

Any other guesses? You have until January 10th. Here's a simple way to find people with high tournament win percentages. Click on this https://www.itsyourturn.com/pp?tourn...id=1260&type=1 This is just some past tournaments from a website with several different kinds of games. If you click on a completed tournament you can find out who won it. Then you can click on that persons name and see what their record is. You can find out who beat them and then click that persons name and find out what their record is. You should be able to find some really high tournament win percentages this way.

Because... I'm really curious about what's the greatest tournament/playoff record off all time and I don't know what it is. I don't mind giving away 100 points. But this way... I have people help me look for it. If I'm ever in a conversation like... "The 85 Bears were the most dominant team ever... " or anything like that... I can always say something like... "That may be true but nobody was ever more dominant in any game ever than Marion Tinsley was in Checkers"

Dan Gable went 245-1 in his combined high school and college career losing only his final match his senior year in college. I'm not sure how many of those were tournament wins though.

He has over 92% Wins in over 8000 games. For a sample size this big I think this might be the most impressive record I have ever seen in anything. Imagine if any sports team had a playoff or tournament record this good. Even with a sample size 1/100th of this they would still be considered the greatest team ever.
