#74This is exactly why they are kneeling. You don't value them as people because you think they should just step n fetch for your enjoyment. As long as they put their bodies on the line and shut the hell up, you're okay with them. The minute one becomes uppity and you want them put in their place.
One day the players are going to realize that they have much more power than they realize. These NFL contracts are horseshit. It's been horseshit for years but they have not figured out how to bargain with the owners, who have put the wool over their eyes. What do you think would happen if half the players decide to get injured in the 1st half of a game? Or what if Deshaun Watson decides to sit out 10 minutes before gametime? Now you mess with their money just like kneeling. One day the players are going to come together and "Remind these Owners who really is boss". I'm sure a lot of people will then be really upset with uppity athletes. lol
No spinning around and round with he said she said bull, just cold hard facts.......Last edited by PAULYPOKER; 10-28-17, 03:33 AM.Comment -

#77I use that phrase on a daily basis at work. I haven't read the entire thread so I'm sure it's been mentioned but it's about employees vs mgmt, nothing to do with race
And for the record, he is right. Players are there to play, not run the prison. That's the wardens job.Comment -

Everyone just can't wait for the next little thing to be outraged over. It all so fukkin stupid on both sides.
Surely I can't be the only reasonable person that doesn't give 2 shits what anyone says or does if it doesn't effect me? How have these morons all convinced themselves any of this crap matters? It like the collective IQ (which wasn't all that high to begin with!) has dropped dangerously low. Bunch of dumbasses on extreme right and left, why do they all not know being a extremist either way shows stupidity?Comment -

#82In 2016, McNair donated $4.5 million to Donald Trump and out of all of the NFL owners McNair was the biggest donor to Trump.[7]
wtf would you like him to do with HIS fukking money? this is a rhetorical question, as I know you think he should be donating to the welfare partyComment -

#88people investing millions into the NFL and Billionaire owners don't give 2 sh*ts about the hired help complaining...do your job or get replaced, pretty simple, you think these guys are going to let a multi billion dollar business collapse because someone has sand in their p*ssy? lol nope
Do you really think it's that easy to replace elite athletes? Did you forget when the NFL tried to use replacement players? Owners lost their asses. NFL owners are riding a slippery slope if they think they can just demand players to cow tow. They need to find a way to work with the players and not against because that is a losing proposition for them. These owners are playing right into Trumps plan to destroy the league.Comment -

#89The sand is in a lot of pussies on both sides. Folks get triggered rather easily these days. Texans owner should know to keep his trap shut while he cashes checks off the backs of these strapping bucks.

#91At this point they might as well replace them w cheaper no talent losers all these idiots in this thread seem to be clamoring for. They destroying the product anyways. #92The owners should have told Trump to pound sand as soon as he tried to make this an issue. The owners are a bunch of old farts that don't know how to handle critical issues anyway, especially Goodell, which is why they're in this mess to begin with. This should have been squashed the minute Kaepernick took a knee. Goodell was asleep at the wheel.Comment -

#96Why is it any more rediculous than ppl complaining about them kneeling? Seems to me the ppl telling players what should and should not offend them are same ppl that have their panties in a bunch over the protest.

1) To think kneeling will make any difference.
2) People complaining about the kneeling. Who really cares what they do?
3) To think this comment had racial overtones. It's not even close.

#101I don't think it had racial overtones BUT if one of his players thought it was racial, so be it. His players have more interactions with him than you and I, so there opinion has weight.
But, i don't think it's about race. It's about ownership thinking they are more important than the players. The league should be a partnership but it's been an us against them for a long time. The players are just as important, if not more to this league than the owners. The players have more skin in the game than the owners, they put their lives on the line every play. The owners need to WORK WITH the players and not foster the me versus you. Unfortunately, Goodell has led this division of owner/player. He's fostered a divided workplace. I think the NFL would do better to get rid of that guy. He doesn't seem to have a good eye for the pulse of the league or what's happening across the US.Comment -

#105heard mcnair called a family meeting, and gathered his closes friends and confidants, as well, to help strategize what to do over this f'n p.r. nightmare.....
what a mess....
tho, I'm pretty sure, if these damn photos of that session get out, the league will probably force a sale.....
and, the video below of players showing up at the practice facility this morning is not going to go over well with the liberal main stream media.....
this is turning out to be a full blow disaster.....
go heavy on the seahawks.....
no way the texans truly "show up"....
tho, they should be clean after the "cleansing" management gave them on the way in to the facility.....:
first, the "damage control session:
and the video from the practice facility this morning:
