She had to be 90 years old man....this is the damn NFL, Monday Night Football. No QB going to be off his game for Nana... Cousins might be sad that those birthday checks for $7 aren't coming anymore or that he can't watch MASH reruns with her on her plastic covered davenport, but everyone loses gradparents- and unless it's premature it's often times a blessing if they go peacefully without suffering.

He will be stoic.

Cousins and his grandma are really close. This is the NFL, exactly. It's a game. Member of his family just died. I'm sure he doesn't really give a f about monday night football. WTF is monday night football in the grand scheme? Yeah death is natural part of life, but it's also natural to mourn for a few days, especially for someone like him whose grandma helped raise him.

Often times, with modern medicines and extended care, elders can live longer but also many suffer in doing so.

What is the quality of life for a center patient who gets an extra 6 months via drugs, if those 6 months are nothing but treatments, bed ridden, or reactions to treatments.

What is the benefit to living to be 95 if all you can do is sit in a wheelchair or if you've developed Alzheimer's or ALS or MS?

Watching lived ones age can be difficult, but watching loved ones slowly die can be horrific. Once they pass it's like a piano is lifted.

I don't know Cousins deal, but he's in his 30s so Nana had to be aged 85 plus meaning there's a good chance this was a peaceful and hoped for resolution.

I dont think she was expected to pass anytime soon, she wasnt sick was she? He was close to her, drove a van he bought from her, there are things involving her going back years you can google, thats not normal for a pro player with granny being brought up so much like that.

Skins were also at home that game, doesnt make it any better they are on the road tonight and especially this stadium. Qb's have been lighting Philly secondary up though, Cousins will want to win this one for granny, but wanting and doing are two different things. Id love Philly -3 here.
