the last place team from the previous season finished 1st the following season since 2002? till last year atl finished 2nd.

carolina finished 1st last year

no value in +285, especially since you'll be tieing up your money for 7 months.

Its a nearly 3-1 prop in a 2 team race, nobody in their right mind thinks the Saints and Bucs are going to win the division, and history says the Falcons cannot put together back to back winning seasons. If you bet a grand, is it not worth 5 months to collect 3850?

That is where the money management and discipline comes in, Chi. Betting on a team week to week is personal, betting on a team to do something over the course of a regular season is giving the books the business.

I'm all over the Saints this year.

But, I do think the Bucs will be putrid this year.

Getting 3-1 on the Panthers doesn't seem terrible. I'm not high on the Panthers, but those are reasonable odds.

Just let Peppers play under the franchise tag. They'll get a HOF year out of a guy at the peak of his career, they can deal him next year. Carolina has to be in a win-now state of mind. Their WR talent isn't getting any younger. It's now or never for Steve Smith and Moosh.

hard to pick against the falcons but if there is gonna be a year in the next 10 to do so, maybe this will be it. still dont see it, but i see the chance of it..

The Saints is a much improved team this year on defense. Do your homework before you put your money on the Panthers. The Saints has a new defensive coordinator and a whole new secondary led by Darren Sharper. They also drafted Malcolm Jenkins and picked up Jabari Greer from Buffalo. This team is determined on defense because they know they are a top 15 defense away from a superbowl. Also Shockey attended his first OTA of his career and he chose to do it with Drew Brees! People really dont understand that this Saints team is so close to Superbowl material if they can get a defense to be atleast in the top 15!!

there offense is just as powerful or better than the Patriots!! Actually on paper there better

Also the Saints are trying to bring experience along side with Vilma. They're thinking about bringing Brooks to play along side of Vilma.... Also this team is just a cpl of years removed from 1 game away from the Super Bowl.

Looks like an arbitrage free roll, given that the Falcons & Saints are 2:1 & Panthers are 3:1, if everyone can agree that the Bucs will not win the division. Just weight the payoff towards whatever team(s) you prefer. Similarly, great value on all three of the non-Bucs teams in that division. Just pick your favorite and roll with it.

The problem with the Bucs is they are completely retooling. New QB, new coach, letting quality vets go this offseason. I'm not sure that they have much of an identity, much less anything substantial to build on going into the season. Sure, the Ravens & Falcons did exactly that last season, but I don't see the rookie QB/coach combo being a sustainable winning trend in the NFL.

They have to get rid of that Delhomme or whatever his name is. ****in aweful, everytime he has to win the game he throws 4 interceptions, half the time he looks like Ryan Leaf. But they have a hell of a rush attack and good defense, but they need to do something about the QB position.
