just to piggyback a little bit...let's not forget that Harbaugh's team is very young...He lost a lot of seniors last year to both graduation and the NFL...The Wolverines had the least amount of returning players on anyone in Division I-A...Michigan was absolute dogshit before he got there and now he's made them relevant again.

yes he did LB. He finally got over the proverbial hump. but the bigger point being was he almost instantly transformed Michigan into an upper echelon program and made them relevant again in the college football landscape. It bears repeating, but the Wolverines were a very "Meh'ish" and "mediocre" team prior to Harbaugh's arrival. Your boy(s) Rich Rodiguez and Brady Hoke were a combined 46 - 44 with the program getting progressively worse and that was not acceptable by any standard you choose especially with Michigan's pedigree.
