You don't have to click on anything to buy the product later at the store.
You'd be surprised how big of a data file about your online behavior and preferences, YouTube (Google) has on you.
Once you bought something online - they know it and they'll feed you Ads about the same or similar products as a mental reminder to you.
If you click on the ad - that's awesome...but you can safely say, that they've accomplished their task even if you just watched it or glanced through it for a few seconds.

Haha yes. In Google Maps I can type the first three letters of any golf course within twenty miles and it autocompletes. So many things like this.

Tailored advertising is sharp. Game-changer for sure.

You'd see that soon AdBlock would be the thing of the past (At the least the most common version that everyone is using right now).
Big tech companies, like YouTube, Facebook...etc already found a way to bypass AdBlock without forcing the user to turn it OFF.

For example, YouTube is now treating video ads as pre-clips, making it impossible to avoid them. The most interesting part is that it seems those with Adblock services activated will be worse off, as the option to skip the video will not be present for them.

Facebook’s solution was bit different. They knew that AdBlockers scans the HTML code of content in search of lines that indicate whether media is organic or sponsored content. So they rendered those lines so that AdBlocker can’t tell the difference between paid post and organic content.

I think in the future, you'd see more and more companies do what FB did. It's not an easy fix, but it almost guarantees the result.

Maybe you recently paid your auto insurance bill and got a confirmation through your Gmail acct.
You don't even have to use Google's search engine to be tracked by them.

Gmail scans the content of your emails and the email addresses of your correspondents. Gmail also scans your incoming emails, even the ones coming from Yahoo and Hotmail for example. If you think you're safe, because you've deleted emails, think again. Google never erases its own copies, even copies of the drafts you decided not to send – even copies of incomplete messages you didn't save as drafts.

I'm telling you the file that they have on you is about 1000x what FBI has on Clinton.

AdBlock is probably one of the better ones out there coach...it has a lot of options that you can play with. You can tune and customize it individually for each site- most people are just clueless or too lazy to do it.

Webmail AdBlocker and Ad-blocker for Gmail are also good if you wanna suppress ads in your email box.

I have two gmail accounts. One for spam, or keeping my identity stealth, one for everything else. Can I ensure that the internet only sees the one of them for advertising purposes?

not if you use the same IP to access them both

Since the computer keyboards have an unshielded wire, those signals leak into the ground wire of the computer’s main power cable. The voltmeter captures the bit streams and voltage fluctuations generated by keyboards and find out what keys you are hitting.
