I'm talking about album of the year, record of the year, etc. I don't really keep up with these awards shows because they're all fixed any way .... but I could not remember the last time I saw a band that fit in the "rock" category nominated for one of the top awards. I guess if you want to include Arcade Fire whenever the F they won, you could, but they're alt.rock at best. I was just surprised to see Foo Fighters included. You may not have liked it, but Wasted Light was a pretty fukkin solid album.

Kings of Leon are decent. Seen 'em live three or four times. Foo Fighters are solid. Everyone's got their thing I suppose.

i've see FF live...entertaining enough because grohl is a pretty funny and energetic guy

but like i said...every song they release now sounds just like other songs they've released in the past
