#37That blows.. Unbelievable.. Less then a week away and he does this... WOW!!... They should strip him of the belt by default.. That's just wrong to opt out this soon... IMO!! Aldo first and RDA now, idiots!!!
http://www.mmafighting.com/2016/2/23...-fight-against
And to Dos Anjos' credit, he has at least been pretty active fighting in the last 2 years(This would have been his 7th fight in under 24 months), so I don't think he should have his belt stripped so hastily.
He apparently doesn't need surgery, so this fight could still happen this year.Comment -

#46fukn christ this sucks.
connor vs robbie?
are people being serious about that?
conor would ruin his career if he took that fight. No head movement vs lawler... conor will be the next hendricks; broken. Of course, I'd watch and it would sell big numbers but that would be a financially bad matchup to make for the company unless they somehow knew conor was close to retiring anyways.Last edited by brooks85; 02-23-16, 12:54 PM.Comment -

#47Thinking about Nate Diaz, I don't know if he could pass the drug test on such a short notice, so that one is probably out.Comment -

#48Are you fukin stupid, he'd knock robbie out cold...Condit schooled robbie, mcgregor has better movement and a ton more power than condit....lmao at comparing mcgregors striking to big rig..it would look like the nick diaz fight, but be over much sooner.Comment -

no-head-movement mcgreggor would get destroyed in that fight. And calm your, you're right it would look diaz fight and even if he won you're missing the main point. Terrible matchup for UFC to make because conor would get clobbered in that fight.

#57To much money and story lines to be made to have ferguson or kabib mess it up before mcgregor wins the 155 and 170 straps in superfights. The two champions are perfect styles for mcgregor, they won't mess that up and give him kabib or ferguson till after he fights rda and robbie. Pettis makes the most sense, then diaz.Comment -

#70@JoshKnows46 exactly, they are realistically only 3 fighters to fill in for march 5th, throwing mcgregor vs ferguson, khabib is insane. where do you see the mcgregor odds when rda and connor do fight?Comment
