Am I the only one on this forum that doesn't feel sorry for Peyton Manning?....IMO, he's had plenty of chances to cement his legacy but has come up short in the playoffs....just like his college career when he could never beat Florida....this win one for the gipper is a bunch of chutzpah...listen, the kid had a brilliant career and is a HOF, no doubt about it...but business is business....Carolina will crush broncos just like they did to Seattle and Arizona...and both of those teams are every bit as good if not better than Denver...Easy money!...

2 of my biggest bets have been on Denver/Manning @ home vs pats in AFC champ. 2 yrs ago, I passed on them in super bowl vs Seahawks.. no bet. Will do the same this year.. no bet. Panthers built very much like seahawks. Mobile qb, running game, mediocre receivers, great D. Very scary as a Broncos backer/fan.

Early forecasts and indications on my end show that many sharp gamblers will be buying Carolina to -6.5 and Over to 46.5.
While this an excellent ball park figure, there are still other factors to consider. That said, I would expect, by game time, that the lines move from where they are now towards my indications, approaching both 7 and 47.
