What would a good book do?
    Hi

Placed a bet of 250 on a russian soccer match yesterday. I won and since the bet wasen´t graded in the evening I concated the book, and they told me that when I made the bet the game was alreday started. I hounestly did not know that. So in my opinion the book took the bet and then they have to pay my winning wager. The book on the other hand said it was an hounest human mistake and that they will not give me the winnings. I´ll not mention the book by name because I have had a very good relationship with them so far, and will continue to have that in the future. I just need to hear your opinion on this matter? would a good book admit their mistake and pay?

They have the right not to credit the bet if the game had already started

It's happened to me before @ top books (greek and 5dimes)

No biggie, on to the next game

If you placed a bet after the start of the game it should be graded as NO ACTION. If it lost they would be in the wrong to take your money and vise versa. I believe that you didn't know it started however there are too many players that try to take shots as books in this manner.

How far into the game was the bet placed? If it was 1 second then they are probably taking a shot at you. If it's one hour then you were probably taking a shot at them. If you don't want to name the book, can you advise what the SBR rating is?

SBR rated D, but on their way up I guess. Don´t know in which part of the game the bet was placed. Thanks for the feed back. I´ll move on.

At D+ you should be thankful they didn't confiscate your account balance and give you the boot. Seriously though, use a better book.

slevy, if the line is still up then they are taking action in my book. If you would have lost the bet they would have graded it as a loss and gladly steal your money. However, since you won they do what all books do, **** you over. IMO, if a line is still up, it is playable. It is not your fault they are stupid is it? ****in cheats is what they are.
