No, he has not made it much better since he became a mod, in fact it's worse (not because of him, but no one can replace BigBoyDan)

He has been a solid mod though, but don't act like he saved the site or anything....as it is nowhere near what it was with BigBoyDan around here every day/night.

As long as mods aren't suppressing free speech, it shouldn't matter much whether Tom, Dick or Harry has moderator under his name.

If this is about "posting", which isn't (or shouldn't be) the primary function of a mod, Maybe BBD had more time to post during work hours than VD. I dunno...

It is worth noting again that Dan's leaving and my coming aboard are two mutually exclusive events... even though most people couple them together due to the timing of it.

I agree that Dan was a great mod and poster! I'm certainly not trying to "replace" him, we both are two different people with different styles.
