Looks like between BetPhoenix and Matchbook there's some easy money to be made. Do you lose your man card betting them, though?

No, there is nothing wrong with free money, regardless of the source

I believe the easiest money I ever made was last November when I pounded the books for thousands for Obama victory. This was the easiest money I ever made that were not sports related bets.
And to answer the original question it is gay to bet on american idol.

Would help to have an account at both, which I don't.
What's a man card? That like losing a macho image, akin to betting on synchronized swimming?

You can keep your man card if you are making money regardless of the bets.

No such thing as easy money when you're laying -800 and if the financial markets didn't crash, you just might have lost that bet.
What a shame!!

Scalps are fine things to take. In general I would guess that the Matchbook side is sharp, so if I was going to bet only one side it would be BetPheonix. You can also use other sources as a guide to which side is right; Pinnacle has a reasonable Idol market.

I got -110 the day Palin was chosen as a VP. I would never lay -800 on any sport or event.

Meaning betting both sides of the same event for a (mostly minimal) profit.

I heard elsewhere that the scalps on this were quite profitable if you could circumvent limits.
