funny how you always brag if u win 1 day yet a month of epic losing doesnt matter.

it does matter when you drop over 200 air units in your "best" sport. you've achieved legendary loser status as far as everyone is concerned.

I put 2 units on Spurs ML thinking they might lose and I would chase them in game three for 3 units.

If this holds up I will take Miami.

                        I took Spurs for 2u.

might have to pound Miami tomorrow if SA holds on. I still think Miami makes this game interesting.

Yea. Literally one bad month and 4+ years of nba capping suddenly forgotten.

                          Just comical.

This run was expected. The Spurs are getting needed rest at the end of this quarter too.

It's hard to come all the way back and keep it up.

How much gas will Miami have in the 4th?

Miami should have enough gas because a lot of this was done with role players. James didn't do much after about the midway point of the quarter.

Game should come down to the wire. It's gonna be a matter of who can make the big shot.

Spurs have really been in control the entire time. I don't see it coming down to the wire.

They quit shooting 75% so the game gravitated to about where the margin realistically is 10-12 points.

Now I must play Heat next game.

Might go real big on the Heat, spread and ML.

I changed my strategy heading into this one thinking the Spurs would split but didn't know which game so figured I could chase after this one if needed.

I think Miami wins Game 4. A cover isn't a guarantee but right now I would expect them to handle their business and win that game by a good margin.

After the Spurs when the championship I can come up with a formula on how OKC is the best team in the NBA when Ibaka is healthy.....

                                                Crunching the numbers....

This championship will be tainted with an asterisks.

Lebron is going to lose how many Finals? Not one, not two, not three.......

Miami on the spread and then the Spurs in games 5 & 6.

I have a gut feeling the Spurs close it out in Miami in game 6 and avenge last year's game 6 loss.

BigD don't be a sore loser. Your team wasn't good enough this year.

They'll be fine going forward if 3 things happen:

                                                      1) Adams steps into the starting role

                                                      2) Durant develops some form of a post game

                                                      3) They add a really good shooter to replace Sefolosha

He also gets abused a lot defensively. If Lebron stays in the East he needs to bulk up to try and guard him for at least some stretches of games otherwise he won't be able to win a title.

You're right. That's not really my MO. I'm more of a sore winner.

If OKC doesn't spend money in the off season I'm going to be f*cking pissed.

Ownership has made a ton of money because of all the sell outs and home playoff games the last four years. Not to mention they keep raising ticket prices.

With that said they don't really act like they want to "go for it".

Wouldn't surprise me to see Westbrook jet back home to LA after his contract is up or see KD goto New York to play for Fisher.

The time is now. The next two years. This isn't a young team of a bunch of 22 year olds it was three years ago.

It could fall apart just as quickly as it started. I'm not taking the success for granted.

Anyway, we can keep this thread on topic.

You sound like a fool when you talk about this window closing. As long as they have those two, they'll be a contender. It's a matter of the other pieces. Durant will continue to grow into a better player. This is coming from maybe the harshest critic of Durant on this site.

I think they'll be fine. They committed to a really good core even though they got rid of Harden and they still have young pieces who should become good players in Adams, Jackson, Lamb, Jones, etc...

BigD is right about him, as much as he loves Durant and the city, he won't stick around if they don't show that they are willing to win. Especially with the Lakers rebuilding soon after Kobe is gone.

All these players you mentioned are pretty good but they are even younger than Durant and Westbrook, it's gonna take longer for them to mature into a good level. Unless they get a very good shooter in the offseason (there won't be many, and probably gonna be hard to get one for not a lot of money)
