I love listening to Vitale.. I like how he reference the 89 Flying Illini with Kenny Battle, Liberty, Gill, Bardo, Hamilton, Anderson, Small.... It gives me goosebumps when I hear him during an Illini game... Keep up the good work Dickie V!

Just for the record, he was an OUTSTANDING college coach. He was able to recruit local stars John Long, Terry Tyler, and Terry Duerod (the first two of whom had long and productive NBA careers) and took Detroit to heights they haven't come close to since.

I really get aggravated, though, when I hear him put "jokingly" down the players he coached in college. He was a good coach, but any coach needs players and they produced for him.

Schlereth is my favorite, he knows better than anyone else because he played with the heart of a football team and I do listen to what he says seriously. Everyone else is just entertaining. I also like Stephen A Smith, he is up right there with Schelreth.

Nobody, and I mean nobody pisses me off more than Skip Bayless who is probably the worst commentator ever. He bashes players and call people talentless and says "shock" things to get attention for himself. He is called out by Stephen A Smith, and got owned by him. Bayless reminds me of a tout, but he touts himself and his predictions (of course he alters his words and/or ignores when he is wrong)

Duke Vitale is so annoying with how much bias he has for UNC and Duke. Granted he does most east coast games but the amount of time he spends talking about how great Coach K is disgusting. He is suppose to be an "analyst" for college basketball but even in games he isnt doing for Duke, Coach K Roy get mentioned more than once. Even the folks at Duke wish he would shut up cause all it does is make people hate those programs even more.
