I've been slinking away and I blame it on the Mountain Dew I downed earlier. That chit tears me up. I walked a couple blocks to a convenient store late last night and grabbed it for today. I knew better. If I tried some of the speed on the streets these days, I'd die instantly.

Off to get my shower for this week. I am a gambler ya know.

PS... I walk a lot in this area and I was out there last night. My Cook sent this to me because she worries about me walking late. She and others also do not think I should carry a weapon all of the time when I am out, but What do you think?

Police are searching for two men who attacked a pedestrian with a knife Thursday night.

The attack happened at 8:15 p.m., when two men approached a 26-year-old man who was walking down the street.

The perpetrators and the man exchanged words, and one of the attackers pulled out a knife and stabbed the man, police said.

I believe "Cook" is Pete's personal euphemism for his significant other. It's always struck me as odd, but to each his own. And actually the cook doesn't come to him, he moved in with his cook...
