some idiots might believe it's actually real and pay touts for picks thinking they'll get rich.
we should form an sbr touts team and make some real dough...

where did this guy come from? I never saw his name in my life. The way he talks he makes millions since his one guy makes 500,000 a year. His office looks beautiful for such a high end operation. I never saw such cheap office equipment. This week i think he is gonna rescue dogs or possible save a family from a terrible sand storm. The following week i think he is gonna live with those underground people to remember where he came from.

his real name is Darin Notaro. i guess he thinks he is an actual "sports adviser". seems hes been a piece of shit since birth. still love the show though.
This is one of the things he did, back in 2001:
District Judge Sally Loehrer Tuesday sentenced Darin Notaro, 25, to one year in jail for his part in a Las Vegas telemarketing scheme that bilked elderly citizens across the nation out of at least $234,000.
Notaro, who was also ordered to make $12,230 in restitution, is one of six men charged in connection with their work for Century Pacific Group, a boiler room that telephoned elderly people and told them they won valuable sweepstakes prizes, but they had to pay $699 to get the prize.

Guy is a clown. The only thing I will give him credit for is he took a few bullets for banging a goon's wife and never snitched on the shooter.

ok, so the guy is a scumbag. but to paraphrase doug stanhope, why are we supposed to respect our elders because they're so wise, yet they're the ones always getting screwed by telemarketer fraud?

Shame that the show is glorifying a tout. I've never seen the show only a few snippets here and there but I assume he only deals with"big money" clients, real or not. Some avg joe is gonna take this bait and contact the first tout they can find. People are dimb enouhj and gullble too to believe shit like this.

The show is totally fake. Obviously these people are actors/friends that are coming in and making bets.
But he actually does have a touting business, that is real.
The fact that he takes 40% of the winnings is ridiculous. He would have to hit 65% just for the betters to see profit
I found out the other night that my mom watches this show, and she was surprised by everything I said, and on top of it the the guy is a scam artist; not even talking about the touting, everything he has ever done in his life has been scams. Guys like him are the scum of the earth, and everyone smiles when he gets his teeth bashed in.

My favorite is when he bet UVA -2, UVA loses to Duke by 13, and he keeps saying he got back-doored.

Coach as SBR player advocate and other various titles, you need to broker a capping contest between Steve Stevens/ Chris Pirelli and John and some fixture poster her on the forum. Would be epic.

If he were smart he would show some of the actual handicapping that is being done to make his picks. That would make people trust him and want to use him more then just picking games out if his as$

The show is fake for sure. In the first episode the client bets 20k on Miami -9 at North Carolina, then after he loses he then bets 60k on Sea vs Ari to win his money back and make a profit. The only problem is that the games were going on at the same time Oct 17.

I watched all three episodes with my girl last night. Definitely fake and set up, but enjoyable. Shit was so funny though:
- Through 3 episodes, guy is yet to take an underdog. His picks are square as hell, loves playing the chalk and buying half pts.
- Lol at first episode when he has the guy chasing, loses 10k, has the guy bet 20k next bet, loses that one and has him bet 60k. Was very close to having a guy buried 90k.
- Then his salesman says, "we'll take two underdogs tomorrow because you start out winning the bet"
- Guy loses a bet by 13pts in football and says he got backdoored lol.

And an idiot. He thinks he got backdoored when he lost a football game by 13pts. And his "advisors" like taking unders because they start the game winning.
The worst part of it all, the guy is rich and goes home to a hot wife.

Great article on the man, his business, and how the show came about. Know its a 'lot of words' for most of the A.D.D. posters but worth the read.
I only made it through half of your first sentence before I got distracted and realized I would never finish reading your post.
Seriously though... interesting article. Nothing about it surprised me though. From the first 3 seconds I heard the guy talk I could tell he was a lying scumbag.
