How you gonna say Zona or Duke could win it but not consider Wichy State?

Aside from Parker, duke is similar to Wichita state in that they both lack size in paint (both teams tallest starter is 6'9". Mason doesn't count.)

Except for Wichita plays much much better defense - similar to Zona. But Wichy can score much easier than Zona and shoots FTs wayyy better as well.

Wichita state has a good coach, great defense, experience, perimeter shooting, and top 5 guard combo in the country. They are a legitimate final four team and title contender.

Of the 11 previous teams to go at least 30-0 and play in the NCAA Tourney, 10 of them made the final four and 6 of them won it.

UNLV and Indiana State were also mid-majors, so yes, its possible. If you have watched Wichita State play then you have seen offensive execution. Their game play just looks better than most other big name teams.

Zona got no chance. Later on in the tourney they will have trouble scoring and their defense can only get them so far. They don't have anyone that can make an outside shot when needed.

Really? Like I said. No mid major has ever won the tournament since UNLV. They have come close, but not quite enough to have what it takes. Wichita St is a great team, but they won't take anyone by surprise. With a #1 seed and an undefeated regular season, they will have target on their back. Mid majors that are seeded high have not performed well in the past. There are a few things common in past champions. They all have had player(s) drafted in the 1st round of the upcoming NBA draft. Wichita has no NBA talent. Arizona, Duke, and Florida are the best equipped teams to win this year. Arizona's weakness is free throw shooting, Duke has been rather bad on the road this year, and Scottie Wilbekein is a SG playing the point. A team that forces a lot of turnovers might give the Gators trouble. Other than that, these 3 are rock solid. I doubt the Shockers make the Final 4.

Florida and Zona are solid. Wich State is garbage. They have not played ANYONE this year. Creighton has a shot at final 4. Michigan State has a chance. Tennessee is playing well.... depending on where they end up.

Correct me if Im wrong.... but Wichita State did not play a ranked team this year. Wichita State had a cute run last year making it to the final 4. But don't lose track of the facts...... Creighton was a better team than Wichita State last year. They played 3 times.... Creighton went 2-1 winning both the regular season conference title and the conference tournament. Creighton would have won the Missouri Valley again this year. The Mo Valley is down this year and losing the best team in the Mo Valley has helped Wichita State go undefeated. Don't get me wrong.... going undefeated is a challenge. Impressive season for Wichita State. Do you REALLY think they are one of the top 10 teams in the nation? Really?

Im predicting Shockers will be placed into MIDWEST bracket with Kansas so wont be easy but 1st two rds will warm them up. While Kansas has come into form their top player will not get bak til mid-NCAA and expect Shockers to clean up the diaper dandys in ELITE 8.
