          Thanks again guys .

Can't stop obsessing over my last hand... Chipstacks were roughly BB 685,000, 2nd 385,000, Me 140,000...

          Blinds at 6000/12000 Ante 1500...

2nd place folds, I pick up 77 in the small blind. In the moment I didn't really hesitate, I felt the right move was to push. Thought I could scoop up the 22,500 out there, and if he called, I likely wouldn't be in terrible shape. He calls me with A 10 off.

          Flops the A.

Hindsight is obviously 20/20... part of me wishes I'd waited a little longer to take a stand, but at those blinds 3 handed I may not have gotten much better of a shot. Besides that, I got all my money in getting paid better than 2 to 1 as a roughly 55% favorite. There are worse ways to get eliminated.

Not to sure how long it was til the blinds moved up, but your move was def worthy as u stated there was close to 18% of your chips out in just the blinds and antes. And if you were wrong in making the move you were a coin flip majority of the time.

Also if you find a way to win that race your right in the hunt sitting with the same chips as 2nd started the hand with! From there it would have been a whole new game on your aspect sitting with 23-24 BB which gives u a lot more options than fold shove in just about every hand your in!

Final hand Chip leader 57BB 32BB and yourself 11BB going into the hand. Now I dont know if thats a result of CL just running everyone over during the final table or if he entered the final table with a overwhelming chip lead. I do know it was a rebuy event but even than I hate in tourneys when each knockout spot is a big step in payout is when its almost like your not playing poker anymore its more like shove (in the right spots) and pray! Im assuming you started with 1500 chips and blinds 10/20 meaning you have 75 BB meaning you can play poker, meaning they need to make the structure better so when each spot you move up is meaning full your doing what it is you did to get to that spot. Sorry didnt mean to go on and on but Nice cash Dave and hopefully you can turn that money into 100k before you know it

I would have pushed with almost any two, let alone a wired pair.

Best hope is they are nits you get some folds out of them, build up the stack. You go all in on that spot with any two you aren't going to be worse than 35% to win, and if you were to get some folds off them (which is more likely than not) and pick up those fat antes/blinds you actually might build up a stack to win the match, and be able to push your weight around. If you go all in and put the pressure on them then you can get chips hopefully without actually getting called (it's one thing to go all in, it's another thing to actually call in all in) People tend to tighten up and don't want to risk it all so they won't call. Good to take advantage of that.

So yea I would say a push was good there, you needed to get it all in anyway and you should be fine with a call seeing as how you are ahead anyway. I'd much rather go down blasting than get grinded away.
