They will have a fairly difficult time getting into the wildcard. They will need to pass up both the Dolphins and the Ravens to get in.
The Dolphins would hold the tiebreaker over the Chargers (head to head matchup), the Ravens would hold the tiebreaker over the Chargers (conference record), and the Dolphins would hold the tiebreaker over both in a 3 way (conference record).Comment -
I wouldn't be surprised if they made the #6 seed, but can't see them doing much THIS year. Although they did keep it close with Cincy earlier this year.

SD winning their last two games seems more likely than not. Both home games hosting the Raiders and Chiefs.
Miami has all division games left, which are always tough.
Ravens have to travel to Det and Cincy, and home vs the Pats. I see them winning one of these at most.
Miami is in the drivers seat for the #6 seed, like LT said. Just win out, and don't worry about what the other teams do. I don't see it happening at all, tho. Slimmest chance out of the three? I say that belongs to Balt.Comment -

Miami will lose to NE brings record to 7-7; will win/lose vs BUF/NYJ, 8-8
Baltimore will lose to DET on MNF, brings record to 7-7; will lose at least another to CIN/NE, 7-9 or 8-8 at best
Chargers #6 AFC seed, coming in as the hottest wild card team.

Sucks, Grew up in San Diego and live there currently but doesn't seem likely we will make the playoffs this year. But I think ALL Chargers fans should check this postgame speech by coach McCoy - this team is going to be
good for years to come if he can build chemistry like this, something Norv severely lacked. And I know while
we had some horrible losses this year (Houston, Wash, Oakland = 9-33 W/L), this team has something building.
