Depends on what cable/satelite package whoever you are staying with has but you will be able to watch football. If you're looking for a sports bar to watch a game(s) Real Sports can't be beat, it's downtown near Air Canada Centre, very short walk from Union subway station.

They show lots of soccer, pool, darts, hockey, cfl football, squash and other lesser sports

on saturday college wise, you"ll get 2-3 games if your lucky... notre dame is always involved

and on sunday you'll get the bills, a west coast game at 4 on sportsnet, either the giants/bears/greenbay/ dallas or some form on fox

and you"ll get the sunday night game
