Prime Mike Tyson vs Prime Lennox Lewis. What would the vegas line be?
Very best version of tyson vs very best version of lewis.
What line do you think vegas would set this at?
My friend says Tyson -500

No shot. Tyson would be - 250 at best. Lewis was big and could box in his prime, however Tyson was an animal and could go down as the most under rated champ of all time. In his prime he was unbeatable.

Tyson at his absolute best would be favored over every fighter in history. He'd be -380 over Lewis, and that would be a steal.

Most overrated fighter of all times
He was good but to even consider him as the best is a joke
Fukkin tomato can central on his way up
Maybe not his fault but it is what it is

there should be some fantasy matchup forum subsection where you could discuss these "interesting" things. Perhaps after the conclusion of this thread, you can argue who is the best super saiyan

If Tyson had his original trainer (that prime era), then Tyson -350.
Lewis I thought never really had anyone good to fight, but he was still a great fighter. He never had a chance to show how good he really was.

Tyson (-280) probably if both fighters were in their prime. Lennox Lewis has always had a hard time fighting well against power punchers (ie -Rahman, Mercer & Holyfield). However Lewis has always shown that he could take a beating and respond back with combos of his own.
It would probably look similar to this fight:

In their prime before buster and the Lennox lewis has no chin bs it would be rusty mike 2-1. Since I can see the future all of my money would go on Lennox Lewis in a punishing beatdown by tko in the 8th round.

Roy Jones Jr in prime I think could handle Tyson.
Too young for 80-90's boxing to be my time but I've seen at least a dozen RJJ's fights and even more Tyson. I think Jones speed would fukk Tyson up.

That is blasphemous. Tyson could paralyze rjj to the point he couldn't fight chickens anymore.

No way. Tyson's punches were waaaayyy to powerful. One clean shot to Jones' body would paralyze him then it would be followed by a quick sledge hammer to the side of his temple and game over for RJJ.

I do think that Roy Jones Jr in his prime could beat Floyd Mayweather Jr. in his prime. It would be a close fight though.

Tyson in his prime would be too quick for Lewis, similar to the young version of Pacquiao who picked off taller opponent his bobbing and weaving.

We're on theoretical bjj skills in and outside the octagon over in the event thread. Also, kack length. Not sure which I find more entrancing.

Almost exactly what I called. You have to remember what Lewis was like in his prime...his size and reach and the way he was destroying fighters. Yes, Tyson is a big favorite but lower than -500, imo.
