Only one reason to tout: You don't have enough money to put on the games yourself. Period. Otherwise you would never sell your plays but instead pound them again and again until there's no more value. A real money-maker would never sell a pick and ruin his own lines.
Often I'm not posting picks from small soccer leagues (small markets) here because even my own bets ruin the line. So I'm betting them til the value is gone which can be REAL fast in some leagues. I know guys that crash small markets within minutes (Iceland f.e.). They would never ever sell these picks becaue it would be dumb as fukk.

I'm more worried about guys like Seaweed though.
Making a write up stating Tel Aviv is in Turkey and there are so so many players who are Muslims in the Team and it affects them because it is Ramadan. Even naming a player that in fact is the assistant coach in his mid-fourties (In a team that has 2 or 3 players that are actually Muslims, the rest are jews). Dumbest (sports related) thread I had to read in a long time here.

The Kraken-a-tor ....thanks to you and Chi-Archie for the props. Yes, I did have a site but when you're not seeking financial remuneration or receiving advertising revenue, it becomes an unpaid job.

My biggest mental hurdle was charging for something that may not only prove valueless but could actually hurt the very people paying you if they tailed (which of course you would assume they would) and the pick flamed. I think what people are looking for is someone to keep a legitimate record and come clean when they lose.

As some of you may know, I write columns for SBR in the sports picks tab at the top of the page. However, I would love to do a regular NFL column on game days (Monday, Thursday and Sunday) and a Sunday podcast. I could always use a guest handicapper Kraken if you're so inclined!

smoke got a time out thats why he hasnt posted here. his thread got deleted because it was sending people to another sports forum so i understand why sbr got rid of it.

benny picks winners and nash does also. from what ive seen this kid pinnacle does also. i dont know if he was warned or not about promoting another site but if he did and continued sbr has a business to run i get that but if they didnt warn him and just gave him the boot thats not cool.

I can spot a tout wannabe a mile out, let's use El Stugato for instance (Let's Go Out) from last year.
Blantant tout wannabe, spamming the forums.
I pointed this out to the SBR brass several times, that he was dangerous and not in the best interest of SBR.
My pm's pretty much got ignored.
For weeks this guy touted the forum with false winnings, false records, false everything.

As recent as last week, there were three such types posting away.
If I take the time to report them, it's just going to be ignored again.

It wasn't just promoting another site for pinny. Smoke, I dunno. Hard to give him the benefit of the doubt when he was knowingly trying to get people to follow a tout.

Pinny420 was telling everyone he was going tout and where he was going. He was using the forum for free advertising and to suck in followers... you can't do that. Not even warning worthy.
