Likely not but I guess it all depends. The Tigers are always like 6-7 solid hitters deep then have a few scrubs in the lineup many times just like over half the teams in baseball.

This is the same team that had Gerald Laird as their starting catcher for a few years before they finally booted him out.

I just wouldn't call these players "AA" because most teams have some equivalent players that get rotated in their lineup for days off and injuries.

Watching it on TV and I can't agree with whichever of the commentators said that Casper Wells catches that ball too. I have my doubts about that so was happy to see Jackson enter the game in the 9th.

I don't really know why people are chirpin' Deuce.. Tigers ML was the right play before the game and it was the right play after, however, taking a stab at that Dodgers RL wasn't necessarily a bad play.
