Great athlete physically but really was never a potential hall of famer in either sport. Bo was a 25 year old rookie so although his NFL career was not long he really only had a couple good years left.

have to disagree with this statement guy averaged 5.4 yards for his career had to split time in the back field and never had a training camp to get ready for the season. if he would have committed to football and not been a 2 sport athlete he had the potential to be a hall of famer

1. We are all AU here. My son is 6 and thinks Cam Newton hung the moon. We were watching this and he asked me who was better... I told him Cam wasn't good enough to hold Bo's helmet. Hands down the greatest athlete put on this planet so far.

2. To think he was on steroids is just silly. Guy was 6'2" 222 from age 17 on. Just a genetic freak.

3. He would have been HOF and maybe greatest NFL rb/player ever if Tampa hasn't pissed him off and pushed him towards baseball.

4. Would have been Olympian in some track events - think decathlon type events.

Lucky to have seen and met him.

Bo was so good, that PED's haven't produced another athlete of his caliber since. LeBron, Prime Time and Jose Canseco and MJ would be the closest to take the mantle.
