    Dubai WC what a joke!!!

It's not fair that the winner of this week race will receive 6.5 million. THat means the winner will vault pass the great horses from the past into history based on one race, and the winner has never won a breeders cup, this money should not be counted in a horses total earnings. For the main reason there's no pari-mutuel wagering allowed in UAE.

Prize money will always increase .. in 50 years time it still won't be fair that the horse that wins "enter name of biggest race on earth here" will get $10 million and leap past Saturdays Dubai WC winner ... Inflation is a thing that is here to stay ... Is it fair that you can go out and get a job and be earning more than your grandfather did when he was your age ? Would it prevent you from taking a job knowing that you are earning more ? Is it fair that you are earning more than he was ?

no, pharieswheels asessment was more accurate. the purses will not increase significantly in let's say the next 10 years because that's about all the time racing has left unless drastic action is taken.

I don't know if I agree with that statement. "Doing fine" may be defined differently by many people , but you rarely see young people at the track like you do at poker tournaments or the sportsbooks. Its the same old timers and middle aged people there year after year.

I do think this race is great for Horse racing though. If Euroears runs like he did at Palos Verdes it should be an exciting race

You do in most European meetings ... as I said - just because they are not interested in the US .. does not mean they are the same the world over.
