He's gonna make slow ball sound fantastic in the late game. Every 3 is going to be the most exciting shot in basketball history. I also call a Hoosiers reference at some point.

One of those guys said ice water in his veins for Mack's shot. Huge overstatement, up by 4 and their main goal was just to run clock. Nice shot, but very low pressure.

Exactly.

This thread hit on my two beefs with the announcers tonight.

1)The ludicrous suggestion to foul when the game is tied and the opposing team is holding for the last shot.

2)Claiming "ice water in his veins" for a standard fadeaway jumper with the team ahead and not in trouble.

Maybe I am in the minority here, but I love listening to Gus Johnson. I think he could make reading a grocery list exciting!

On a different note, was it me or did it seem like Elmore & Miller didn't get along? Len seemed super agitated and aggressive, and was short every time Miller spoke.
