I'm all for helping people in need, but shit like this is why I won't touch GoFundMe with a 10 foot pole. Too many unverified claims, too many scams, too many people asking for handouts they don't need.
If you want to donate to charity, that's great, just find a better charity that is legitimate and does more good for more people.
