Never understood thieves

I stole a bike b4 but really it was an abandoned
bike that no one claimed at lost and found where I worked

And mechanical pencils as a kid

But no way ever had the heart to steal from people .

Can't trust a thief . Their compulsion will almost always
overtake them eventually
