I mean you pretty much described what alot of the left wants.
Unless, you buy the bs the corporate interests and the right sells, that the left **cough** BERNIE** cough wants to turn America into a Communist country and we're just in it for free shit.
I find it hilarious for every program Bernie suggested the first question was how are we going to pay for it. However, when a crisis happens nobody give a damn about that and we have magically an endless supply of money to give away.
Unfortunately America has a two party system, so we're stuck with the left trying and currently failing to take over the Democratic party.
Your Capitalist Socialism party would split the Democratic party and guarantee Republican control, unless we could somehow convince the Republican working class to break from them and join up as well.
Not from the left. Or the right. Or even the center. But from a blank template under this new reality. Hack Politics.
And it's Capitalist Socialism. We do need capitalism, especially entrepreneurism. But we will also need socialism. No way we can or would want to make it through if 5% thrive and 95% are starving and dying in the streets. Won't even work for the 5%. It's doable. Reward socially responsible entreprenurs. Not just monetarily, but in every way. Highlight them. Highlight good people doing good and giving back. Most people at least want to be seen as good and not evil, regardless of motive. And shame the selfish, greedy, bad people. Fukk em.
Don't have all the answers, but society has to change. Doesn't matter if you think this was engineered.
This whole episode just lays bare how toxic Trump is to the core. While he finally gave in and is sort of going along under force and coercion, his core and leadership is the opposite of what we need for the next decade.
If the primaries were starting now, I'd be all in on ANDREW YANG. I do think he will play a big role in the Biden Administration though.
