I agree that no one should call someone with a mental handicap a retard or refer to anyone's children or family members by that name, but if I see a group of individuals fighting(like the antifa fights in Portland yesterday) why is it a bad thing to refer to them as retards? This is the use of the word that I am talking about.
I'll put it simply. You don't care because your Uncle doesn't matter to you. I'm not saying you hold ill will or don't have a fond memory or two, but Bobby (It's not bobby waves is it? You can tell us.) isn't your kid. Ask BigDay how he feels about that word.
