throughout history, the people that claimed to be the biggest patriots, are usually the first ones to betray their country
just look at trump, he stands for the anthem, he attacks people that dont, claims he loves america, makes love to the flag on tv, always accuses people of disrespecting the troops
yet he dodged the draft like a pro on multiple occasions, not to mention his obvious ties to russian interests
players that dont stand for anthem are more patriotic than draft dodgers that stand
