I felt emotionless during the games this week. I have been a diehard, game attending, merchandise buying, KC Chiefs fan since the mid 80's and for the first time I can remember I didn't feel anything for KC winning or losing. My family has held 1st + 2nd row endzone tickets for over 30+ years and for the first time I can remember, I have no desire to attend a game. I usually get a set of tickets for one or two games a year and I just put my share back into the family pot after this week. This was also going to be the first year my daughter attended a game and I just can't bring myself to go. I just can't get my love for the league back. Sure, I enjoy watching the game and still place bets but the passion for the sport is just gone. They have become just numbers and statistics on the field for me (I happen to love statistics). Don't know if this will change but what they did over the week has done massive damage that I'm not sure I can repair.
