That is the problem with the black players protests here....they are misusing their local platform for national reasons and it's not working. The players who feel abused or who want to bring awareness to a cause should pool their money and buy public service announcement time during the NFL games, while still honoring the local individuals and military units honored at each game.
#1 - a lot of these ceremonies are PAID FOR by the military. How long until they force fans to watch Red Dawn before the start of each game (wait, under Trump Red Dawn would have to be re-made where North Koreans attack a cross burning in Idaho)

#2 - The players are not screaming during the anthem. They aren't burning a flag. They are kneeling. Whatever your background is, the fact that you feel you know better how someone should exercise their right to express themselves in a quiet, non violent way, speaks volumes.
