I love it when people clamor on about variance like they have any idea what it is.
The site isn't rigged.
However, it's much easier to blame shitty software and shitty variance than it is to look in the mirror and blame shitty play.
Suck outs happen. But if they seem to happen over & over again, it's probably something you could be doing differently.
Especially if you're hitting the call button.
