In the 8 years that he played, he averaged what would be 559 at bats a year.
Per 559 bats he averaged 33 homers and 98 RBI's, that is fukkin multi million $$$ contract production
Not too mention the dude stole 89 bases and only caught 20 times.
To switch over from baseball and play a punishing sport like NFL is mind boggling.
Especially @ the toughest position to play as far as contact and thats running back.
