Sammy is in a tough spot here. I’ll have to think a bit more but, without really knowing you, I can add this…

There is no doubt getting out is going to be good, for anyone. Toler’s right, hit the lake or somewhere for a small get away.

Getting into the sportsbook is a good idea, but it really isn't a break from the Hustle. It’s just a renewed feeling from being right here at the exchange. It’s like trading Schwab online then heading to the NYSE Floor. At best, your own knowledge will remind you that the game is no different here or there, and at worst, you could get a new set of problems…If you don’t trade some way by phone, then the comfort and efficiency of your terminal will surely be missed. You’ll add stress to the need to get down.

Again I don’t know you or how you handicap; maybe you can get down, and then go hit the books, maybe you can just play at the books.

Either way, the hustle is the same. And you don’t sound like you want to get away from it, but you do sound like you need a change and that could cause you to be evaluating whether the work is worth the money.

This is a problem seasoned gamblers face and it does good to take a pause, evaluate it, and even take a break. Even the professional gamblers need to take a vacation.

Of course, then we often times need to catch up.
