Its political theatre for sure, nothing new, just a different candidate this time. First term people were jumping rope lines and willing to be tackled by Secret Service just to snap a pic next to Obama and if he was even in the same area code they would put that in their campaign ads....now that he's a ridiculous failure they are trying to separate themselves.
The easiest thing to do would be to say, as a Democrat, YES I voted for him because I was under the same spell you all were and now that I've seen I made a mistake, let's work together to correct it and not believe the hype next time.
