As for taxes, I do not lose any sleep knowing a politician can't waste my money on some dream project of his that will go way over budget and do nothing to benefit me. Besides, you aren't contributing shit anyways. 75% of taxes are paid by the top 1%, not to mention the fact that they receive a smaller share of government benefits.
